Jing was born in Dalian, China, a beautiful harbor-city with wonderful sea views and beaches. When she was just 6 years old Jing’s art talent was discovered by a local fine-art teacher which led to her academic education in fine art. Three years later Jing attended the Children’s Fine Art Exhibition in Dalian where she was awarded the “Top 5 Talent” prize.

 

Since 2001, Jing has been living in Europe. Initially she studied and worked in Germany before eventually settling in Switzerland. Over the years, the largely self-taught, artist has participated in a number of fine art exhibitions and has received many favourable comments and reviews from fine art critics in both Asia and Europe.

 

Jing’s paintings compromise the merits of Oriental and Western styles. Her modern impressionist paintings are created through using acrylics on canvas which allows the brilliant colors to achieve the delicate look, and imaginative feel, of fine watercolors.

 

The artist’s paintings aim to evoke a dream-like mystery which often mesmerize and energize the viewer. In July 2014 Jing presented her latest pioneering creations in a solo show at Gallery CASA DEL ARTE in Zurich, Switzerland.  

 

In November 2014 Jing is presenting her latest pioneering creations at V-Studio with cooperation with the Gallery ART SANKOM in Lugano, Switzerland.
